Here are some of the most frequently asked questions from our applicants:

Q: Who is Mahler Private Staffing?

A: Mahler is a boutique search firm with over 26 years of experience placing private service professionals in private homes and offices.  We match our candidates with the right positions that are a fit for their work experience and mesh with our client’s expectations.

Q: How do we work?

A: Mahler’s open positions are always unique tailored opportunities seeking a specific professional to fill.  We invite all with relevant experience to apply for any of our positions at our job board.  If your experience is a match for the position, one of our recruiting staff will typically reach out within five to ten business days.  After this initial call, there may be a Skype or an in-person interview with one of our representatives.  If you remain in consideration for the role, we will then arrange an interview with our client.

Q: How can I register with Mahler Private Staffing and apply for a position?

A: If you are new to Mahler, you will first need to apply for a job to create an account.  You will upload an updated copy of your resume and provide us with some basic information, and your account will be created (please make sure to remember your password so you can log in and apply for positions in the future!).  You can then apply for any of our opportunities at our job board, found here.  If you do not see any positions you're currently interested in, you can apply for our General Application.

Q: I previously created an account with Mahler.  How can I apply for new positions?

A: If you previously applied through our website prior to September 2015, when we performed a system upgrade, you will need to perform a few simple steps to access your account.  Go to this link and simply enter your email address, then click on “forgot password.”  You will receive a system-generated email notification that will assist in setting a new password.  You should then be able to log in and apply for any of our opportunities.  If  issues persist, please see our Help page.

If your account was created after September 2015, or if  you have logged in since then, all you need to do is click “Apply to this Job” at the bottom of the job posting, log in, and complete the initial application for that role.  All of your information is kept on file, but please make sure to include the most updated copy of your resume for our recruiters.

A: We receive hundreds of applicants for each of our opportunities, and unfortunately are unable to contact every applicant .  Rest assured, we will reach out to all candidates who can be considered for a position, and your information remains on file for future positions and outreaches.  We welcome additional applications for future opportunities.
